Ed Carney is Global Head of Sales and Marketing for AYK Energy. He is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy with more than 30 years of experience in the maritime industry. Ed began his career as a marine engineer working at sea on various vessel types, before coming ashore as head of technical operations for a large cruise line. He transitioned to the commercial side of the marine industry 10 years ago and has been involved with marine electrification and energy storage during that time on both the business and technical sides.
